At our recent Year 11 Formal Assembly, we celebrated the following successes.

Squash:

The team of Connor Hill (Year 13), Mark Seagar (Year 13), and Cody Paul (Year 13), won the Waikato Secondary Schools Senior Teams' Division 1 title.  The team of Austin Furniss (Year 13), Angus Henry (Year 12), and Kyro Stevens (Year 12) finished as runners-up in the same competition.  In the Individual Championships, Connor Hill finished in second place in the Senior Division, and Austin Furniss won the Plate Final in the Senior Division.

Boxing:

Ashtar Ali Rizvi (Year 13), pictured above, has won the North Island Golden Gloves Championships in the 15 - 17 years age group, Super-Welterweight Division, 71kg, in Taupo during the first weekend of June.

Softball:

Paora Cooper-Nicola (Year 10) and Boston Jones (Year 11) have been named in the New Zealand Under 15 Development Sox Training Squad, which will take place in Wellington on the 18th to the 21st of July.

Inline Hockey:

Lachlan Robertson (Year 13) and Sinan Lu (Year 12) have been named in the New Zealand Under 18 team, which will head to Los Angeles in January 2023.  Daniel Middleton (Year 12) and Felix Lu (Year 10) have been named in the New Zealand Under 16 team.
