🥫 Salvation Army Food Drive a school-wide success for the Leo Club

Levi Pruden —

On the 11th and 13th of May, the Leo Club held its second annual Food Drive in collaboration with the Salvation Army.

Following on from last year, it was arranged that the Tutor Group with the most canned donations would be rewarded with a pizza lunch for their efforts. Also similarly to last year, per multiple attempts at doing the math, the total number of cans collected over the course of the event was close to 800.

More importantly, the top three Tutor Groups for this year's Food Drive were as follows:

In first, and the winners of the pizza lunch, GD on 97 cans
In second, BP on 81 cans.
In third, AY on 48 cans.

I would also like to thank all those who contributed over the two days. With the number of Tutor Groups that participated, contributions to this cause were made all across the school.

Similarly, thank you to all the Leo Club boys who volunteered their time to help make this event happen.

Lastly, thanks again to Miss Guildea's Tutor Group for their outstanding effort. We will be in further contact with you soon! 🍕🍕
