HBHS students help out Habitat for Humanity

Barney Killian —

On Saturday the 7th of May, several HBHS students happily gave up their time to help out Habitat for Humanity by cleaning up their new building, which they had recently bought from the Red Cross.

The building they had purchased will allow them to manage future events such as building or providing homes for those who need them. It will also provide a workspace for other projects done by Habitat for Humanity. All the boys who had attended this service event brought a positive attitude and a great work ethic. It was a really fun occasion, and with everyone’s great work ethic we were able to have an impact on the state of the building, which hopefully in the future will be able to help many lives. We at HBHS are grateful for the opportunity Habitat for Humanity has given us.
