The Hockey Umpires Academy is a group of students who are mentored by senior umpires to train and upskill the future umpires for HBHS hockey. This group is aptly run by Ms Shah who is devoted to helping the boys improve their skills. The boys in the group are thankful for her service and the great work she does.

This year was another great year where boys were able to move up into umpiring more difficult teams from umpiring primary school teams to premier secondary school teams. The future umpires look forward to the continuation of the Academy in 2022.
