Tertiary scholarships are now open for students moving into further study in 2023.

Scholarships are a great way to fund your study. All of the universities have school leaver scholarships which usually close on varying dates during August.

There are many different types of scholarships, including academic, sporting, Māori, Pasifika, hardship, disability etc. Most of these scholarships look at the 'whole person' so it is helpful to have service and leadership experience. This can be HBHS based and/or community based.

Year 13 students have been sent a google form to fill out. Please check your school emails. You have been asked to provide information about yourself (achievements etc) and to nominate two staff members who know you well and will agree to write a testimonial for you. (Remember to check with these teachers or coaches before you nominate them).

This testimonial can then be used for your scholarship applications.
