The Year 10 Leaders for 2024
Thank you to our Junior Student Leaders for all of their efforts this year.
The Year 10 Leader role has been a role in our school for a few years now. I was a Year 10 Leader in 2021 gaining invaluable experience as I worked alongside many of my peers as well as the Prefects of 2021, ultimately leading me to the position I am in today.
The Year 10 Leader role was made to ensure that HBHS has individuals prepared for their potential role as a Prefect. It was created to ensure that when students reach their final year of high school, they know the operations of Prefect meetings, Committee meetings and Prefect duties as well as gaining skills that can help them in the future.
With 2024 being a year full of boys making a difference in our community, our 2024 Year 10 Leaders successfully lived up to the expectations that accompany the role. Our Year 10 Leader Programme has been ongoing for many years with multiple young men expressing their interest in leaving their own mark in the junior school. This year our Year 10 Leaders have consistently attended both Prefect and Committee meetings and helped around our school especially when seniors are on study leave. It is evident that our school will continue to prosper for the future years to come. Without a doubt HBHS continues to shape young boys into sharp men.
