Daniel (Year 11) led the Te Awamutu Equestrian Club to victory in the 'North Island Timberlands Teams' Event'

The event took place in Matarawa Road, 5km south of Tokoroa, on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th March.

20 teams of four from around the North Island competed over the two days.

Eventing comprises the three disciplines of Dressage, Showjumping (Saturday) and Cross Country (Sunday). All four team members' scores are totalled after their two days of competition. 

Daniel captained his Te Awamutu team to victory over a very challenging weekend of eventing. Congratulations Daniel.
