In the Agriculture Programme at HBHS, 22 of our senior students attend farm visits one day per week throughout the school term with tutors from Primary ITO and local farmers.

By having these real-life farm experiences, the boys get amazing opportunities to gain a lot of practical and theoretical knowledge within the farming industry.

So far this year our students have covered a wide range of farm management including stock handling, drenching, vaccinating and minerals, fencing and demonstrating knowledge of hazards, hazard control and health and safety in a rural workplace.

Our Agriculture students are doing exceptionally well. They enjoy the practical outdoor learning environment which enables them to boost their confidence and achieve their goals.
