Unsurprisingly, it was a HBHS team that came out on top.

On Thursday the 26th of May, the Academic Committee hosted its first inter-school Quiz Night of the year with Hillcrest High School. A total of 24 teams, consisting of 4-6 students each, participated on the night, proving to be both highly competitive and loudly enthusiastic. Perhaps in part due to the excess amount of sugar given out, teams remained lively throughout the evening on what seemingly proved to be a fun time all-round.

With their schools and scores (out of a total possible mark of 100) attached, the top 3 teams on the night, all of whom received prizes, are as follows:
🥇 [HBHS] Curry>Lebron - 80.5 points
🥈 [Hillcrest] Graham - 76 points
🥉 [HBHS] Jareed Mon, Bicycle - 73 points

Thanks to all the teams who took the time to participate, and thanks to Ms Ashby for her continued support of the Committee and its endeavours. Whilst much of the Academic Committee's core focus now turns back to Scholarship examinations, tutoring, and study workshops, plans are being floated for similar events in the near future.
