Thursday the 29th of August marked the end of our Waikato Secondary Schools Debating Competition.

We had our Junior Open (Year 10) team in the Junior Open Final. Our team of Ollie Shallcrass, Frank Koy, and Jasper Goldsmith were runners-up.

Our prizewinners for the season were as follows:

Connor McCracken (Year 9): Junior Novice Best Speaker Trophy

Ollie Shallcrass (Year 10): Junior Open 5th Best Speaker Award

Jasper Goldsmith (Year 10): Junior Open Best Speaker Trophy

Ayaan Harunani (Year 12): Adjudication Service Award

Conor McCormack (Year 12): Senior Premier 4th Best Speaker Award

Nikash Lanka (Year 12): Senior Premier 2nd Best Speaker Award
