🏴 NETSAFE Presentation and resources to use
Thanks to the many parents and caregivers that turned up to listen to Sean's presentation on how to keep our boys safe online, on Wednesday 19th February.
Sean presented on the many ways parents can support their sons, and daughters, to be safer online, with a focus on: social media safety, online bullying/social media bullying, privacy online (what a young person should do when asked to share personal information online, e.g., random message requests), sextortion, and sharing nudes.
Sean provided a plan for parents and caregivers.
As the presentation wasn't live-streamed or recorded, Netsafe have sent through links to their useful resources for all parents and caregivers to support their son/s.
