A day of debating the best ways to protect and use outer space from a global perspective saw HBHS students win top awards at the Waikato Model United Nations event on Saturday the 3rd of August.

Eleven students attended the event hosted by Rototuna High School. They worked in delegation teams to represent a country’s interests and participated in a mock General Assembly. Our five teams competed confidently, and were recognised at the end of the day for their speaking skills, creative ideas and alliance-building.
