This event made a most welcome return prior to Easter and the Term 1 holiday break.

After a hiatus of several years, which was exacerbated by COVID-19, HBHS took to the streets on the last day of Term 1 in order to raise money for the KidsCan Charity. KidsCan is Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading charity dedicated to helping Kiwi kids affected by poverty. They help tamariki experiencing hardship by providing food, jackets, shoes and health products to schools and early childhood centres across New Zealand. With these essentials, kids can participate in learning and have the opportunity for a better future. In total, HBHS raised $6623.90 for this most worthy of causes. 

A huge thank you must go to Mrs Gemma Hickman, Ms Caitlyn Brown, and their team of organisers who worked so hard to make this event such a success.
