The HBHS Premier A Water Polo team played in the NISS Division 1 Tournament held in Auckland from the 26th to the 29th of March, 2022.

In pool play, HBHS beat Rosmini College 20-7, Saint Kentigern College 14-6, and Palmerston North Boys' High School 15-14.  The playoffs were against Sacred Heart College and we beat them 12-10. This took the team through to the semi-final against Rangitoto College where HBHS won  7-4.  In the final, against Tauranga Boys’ College, we went down 6-7 and this placed us second overall.
