Royal New Zealand Air Force Experience

Date: 30 November-01 December 2022 – LOGSPEC/AFSPEC Experience.

Registration for this event will close on Monday 21st November 2022.

Location: RNZAF Base Auckland

The Logistic Specialist and Aviation Fuel Specialist Trades are two of our support trades that offer variety and opportunities to travel around Aotearoa and overseas. Both offer real world skills and qualifications, and you will get to be part of diverse and innovative teams.

On this experience you will visit RNZAF Base Auckland and visit the following:

•Supply Chain

•Warehousing and Logistics 

•Air Movements

•Aviation Refuelling

During this experience you will also:

•Experience a physical training and team building session

•Meet members of our Pasifika and Māori Cultural Groups

•Hear about the adventures and activities you will get to be part of when you join

You will get the chance to talk to current serving logistics specialists, aviation fuel specialists and recruiters to really find out what it’s like to serve with the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

This experience is aimed at potential recruits for the upcoming Air Force intakes in 2023. Apply at RNZAF LOGSPEC/AFSPEC DCE 

Note:

•Travel and food will be provided

•Only individuals that are successful will be notified

•Individuals must be comfortable participating in a group physical training

•Individuals must have 12 NCEA Level 1 credits in Maths and English

•Priority will be given to individuals that are 17 years or older

Te Kura Summer School

Te Kura accepts short-term registrations over the summer break. Te Kura Summer School is a learning programme available for eligible ākonga (students) who require up to 12 NCEA credits to progress to further study, training, or employment.

Trees at The Meteor

Trees at The Meteor is back after two years, and the volunteers have a vital role in ensuring everything runs smoothly. We have a number of volunteer roles still to fill in order to deliver this event.

The event is for our community artists from all walks of life who produce some amazing creation for the rest of the Hamilton community to come along and enjoy.
