A team of Year 9 and Year 10 players compete in Senior Division 2.

In order to help prepare for the Junior North Island Competition later in the year, this team was entered into two Senior Division 2 tournaments.

At the NISS Tournament in Hamilton, the team placed 17th out of 23 teams. The results were as follows: vs JPC Senior Mixed 6 - 8, vs Saint John's 17 - 2, vs Kristin Senior Boys 5 - 6, vs Rongotai College 9 -15, vs Rosmini 6 - 8, vs St Paul's 9 - 8 and Papamoa College 11 - 4.

In Auckland, at the NZSS Tournament, the team finished 12th out of 20 teams. They achieved the following results: vs Tauranga Boys' 3 -16, vs Westlake Boys' 5 -12, vs Macleans College 5 - 6, vs Northcote 11 - 6, vs Auckland Grammar 5 -17 and HBHS Black 4 - 7.

The team would like to thank coaches, Geordie Chapman and Matthew Lander, and manager, Kelly McDiarmid, for all of their assistance. 

We look forward to watching these young players develop their skills over the next few months.
