If you are currently a Year 13 student, have UE literacy and have Level 2 endorsed with Merit or Excellence, you may be eligible to do an online year one university paper while still at school.

The University of Waikato Unistart Scholarship covers the cost of up to two Unistart papers for free, but you must meet the following criteria 

• have met the criteria for discretionary entrance to university,
• are between 16 and 20 years old at the start of the Unistart paper, and
• have approval from their school
• NCEA Level 2 Certificate or above endorsed with Merit or Excellence; and
• New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.

There will be a meeting on Wednesday (Feb 7th) at lunchtime in the careers room (SSC) for students to find out more information.

Enrolments must be done through the careers department and with the endorsement of an HBHS staff member.
