Our annual trip to Planet Bike in Rotorua took place on the Saturday of Waitangi Weekend. Our new boarders were accompanied by our Senior Leaders and staff.

Students were able to select between three different courses: the beginners' course, the intermediates' course and the experienced course. Students were able to decide which course they did and nerves were present during the decision-making process. 

Students were split into their two houses, Bennett and Sutherland, with one attending in the morning and the other in the afternoon. The conditions were wet and slippery but all the boys managed to have a great time with only a few small crashes along the way. Unfortunately, we were unable to get pictures out on the trail as all the staff in attendance were holding on to their handlebars far too tightly to let go and get their phones out!  

The boys were also treated to an excellent lunch that was put together by our amazing kitchen staff.  

A massive thank you must go to Lennore and the crew at Planet Bike. We are already excited to return next year!
