Year 13 student Hitesh Malhotra takes out Division 6 in the New Zealand Economics Competition.

The NZ Economics Competition is a prestigious event sponsored by the University of Auckland Business School, the Treasury, and the Kelliher Economics Foundation. This competition tests students' knowledge of economic theory and current economic issues. In 2021, nearly 2000 students from around 90 schools throughout New Zealand entered the competition. This included students from our Year 12 and 13 Economics classes as well. We are very proud to announce and celebrate the High Distinction award won by Hitesh Malhotra, who also scooped the National Award trophy for being first in Division 6, topped with $300 cash. Congratulations, Hitesh!
