It is the first time since 2013 that HBHS has won this trophy.

At the recent 2024 Porritt Classic held early in February, three of our Year 9s took on the field of Year 9s through to Year 13s in the Dick Quax 1500m race. Twins Max and Jack Stirling, along with Levi Christensen, took out the Dick Quax 1500m Challenge Shield as they were the first placed team of three runners! This is the first time since 2013 we have won this shield. It is a mighty achievement when you consider these boys were at school for just over one week and stepped up to take on racing under the HBHS colours. Jack finished in 9th, Max in 10th, and Levi in 12th place in the race. Even more remarkable was the fact that Max was clipped and fell in the first lap and regathered himself to finish strongly.
