The HBHS team won Bronze at the New Zealand Secondary Schools Nationals held in Wellington from the 13th to the 16th of April, 2024.

The team beat St Kentigern College 11-3, Wellington College 23-1, Rosmini College 9-7, Auckland Grammar 8-7 and drew with Tauranga College 7-7. In the semi-final we lost 3-6 to Sacred Heart College and went on to beat Rangitoto College 9-4 to secure the bronze medal.
