Tauranga-based electric motorcycle maker Ubco has raised another big chunk of capital, and secured a new manufacturing deal that will allow it to dramatically scale up production capacity from batches of hundreds to tens of thousands per year.

This is a unique adventure on a tall ship with a total of 40 students from four schools working on a variety of challenging and enjoyable activities including hoisting sails, raft races, swims, chores and games both on the ship and ashore.

Soon after the opening of the new school, 1955, the Memorial Baths project was completed.

With the recent HBHS and HGHS elite Kapa Haka group of Te Maurea Whiritoi competing at the 2021 Tainui Regional Festival and qualifying for the National competition in 2022, we thought it was time to take a moment to look back to where this all started - 1975!!
