Joe Morgan selected in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics team 
Congratulations to our newest National representative.
Year 13 student Joe Morgan had been selected to be part of the NZSS Athletics team. Normally this would mean travelling to Australia to compete but with COVID restrictions, they can’t. Instead the team will compete in all the big athletics meets set up for summer such as the Capital Classic, Cooks Classic, Potts Classic and others. This means running against men including students home from studying internationally and athletes such as Sam Tanner who ran the 1500m at the Tokyo Olympics. Joe is coming back from injury but his training is going well. With both lockdowns and COVID cancellations it’s been a long spell between races!
