HBHS Rowing success

On Sunday, February the 27th we competed at the KRI regatta for schools at Lake Karapiro, under strict COVID protocols. We had crews representing all age groups in a variety of events. It has been a very long and difficult season with all of our regattas cancelled at the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022. Our boys however, have continued to train and everyone was excited to finally compete against other schools. Some of our newer rowers had never been to a regatta or raced before, which made the event even more special for them.

Congratulations to all of the participants. We had outstanding results with some very exciting finishes. The highlight was seeing our Under 18 Eight fly away to a significant lead and finish first in record time.
