Men of the Week, Term 3 Week 8

We had many to celebrate at this week's House meeting!

On Tuesday we celebrated the sizeable Argyle House contingent of our National champion 1st XV rugby team on their title win this past weekend.  Unfortunately several team members were absent, but we took the opportunity to congratulate our boys on their epic efforts in that nail-biter of a final.  Of particular note is Josh Syme, (second from right in the above photo) who is now a double National title holder as a member of the Maadi Cup winning Under 18 Eight, and our 1st XV.  We are immensly proud of our young men and what they have achieved in what has at times been a challenging year.  Tino pai te mahi!

Postscript:  HBHS has just been ranked as the fourth-best rugby school in the world on the nextgenxv.com website, and is the highest ranked New Zealand school on the list.

"There are certainly fewer more impressive school rugby programs in the world than Hamilton Boys'."

Congratulations to all of our boys on this acknowledgement.
