HBHS Dominate Waikato Secondary School Swimming Championships

Thursday the 27th of May was a great day for our 33-strong swim team who competed at the Waikato Secondary School Championships.

Continuing on from their dominant performances at the North Island Secondary Schools and National Championships last year, our boys accumulated 30 top three placings and broke three Waikato records, earning themselves the title of Top Boys School for the 18th year in a row and Top Overall School for the fourth year in a row. Shown here is Captain of Swimming, Ciaran Watson, with our two trophies and one of our record-breaking relay teams featuring Carlos Hardie, Ciaran Watson, Hunter Read, and Dominic Fawkner.
