Haere Rā, Whaea Barton
Whaea Miriama Barton has left HBHS and is now in Wellington to take up a new role in the PPTA.
On Friday the 14th of June we said goodbye to our beloved Whaea Barton, after 21 years at HBHS. Her contributions to Te Reo Māori, Kapa Haka, and the well-being of our Māori students, as well as all that she has contributed to the wider school have been immeasurable, and we thank her for everything she has done. Our boys gave her a fitting send-off, and we wish her all the very best in her new role in Wellington.
