Debating 2024 ️

We have celebrated another year of debating success with an impressive 21 teams arguing their way through the junior and senior Waikato Secondary Schools Debating competitions.

Special congratulations to the Year 10 team of Ollie Shallcrass, Frank Koy, and Jasper Goldsmith who competed in the Junior Open Final.

The following students were also recognised at the end-of-year prizegiving for the Waikato Secondary Schools Debating competition:

Connor McCracken (Year 9): Junior Novice Best Speaker Trophy

Ollie Shallcrass (Year 10): Junior Open 5th Best Speaker Award

Jasper Goldsmith (Year 10): Junior Open Best Speaker Trophy

Conor McCormack (Year 12): Senior Premier 4th Best Speaker Award
