Under 14A Rugby team win Super 8 title ️

The tournament began with a dominant 53-5 victory over Napier, where the boys executed their game plan flawlessly. The second match against Tauranga was a much tighter contest, with strong winds and rain adding to the physicality of the game. Despite these challenges, the team held their nerve to clinch a hard-fought 20-19 win. In their third game against Hastings, the team battled through gale-force winds to secure a solid 10-0 victory, maintaining their discipline in tough conditions.

The boys then progressed to the final against Rotorua, where they started with a bang, scoring 26 unanswered points. Despite a determined fightback from Rotorua, who managed to score two tries, the boys held firm to win 26-12, securing the tournament title. A special thank you goes out to the parents for their unwavering support and assistance in getting the team to New Plymouth. The boys should be proud of their achievements, both individually and collectively.
