Welcome to our new Newsletter format. You will see this is shared to Facebook too.
Cross Country: We postponed our event to Thursday and it came out a beautiful day for it. It was great to see so many supporters there on the day. The Mid Canterbury County Cross Country is on the 31st May and Miss Wise will be in contact with those senior students that qualified very soon. All our students showed amazing perseverance and a great attitude.
New Staff: We have Miss McKenzie Baker-Flynn starting our next Year 0/1 Class in Rm 4 from Week 9 this term. She is currently providing some additional relief teaching for us. Miss Baker-Flynn previously worked at St Joseph School in Kaikoura where Miss Lewthwaite is now the DP. Mrs Ella Johnson and her husband are moving to the UK later this term. We wish her well and look forward to hearing the news of Baby Johnson's safe arrival. Miss Olivia George will teach in Rm 9 from Week 9 and she will visit the class to get to know the children and the routines on 30 May.
Isolation Meals: Jo Taylor from Kai for Kids is still happy to deliver meals for families that are Isolating at home. She can be contacted on 027 247 7069.
Student of the Week: Our Super Star was away today, so we will reveal the recipient in next weeks newsletter.
Meetings: Our next Board of Trustees meeting is on Wednesday 18 May at 6pm in the Staffroom. All Welcome. Our next PTA meeting will be in Term 3.
