Talofa lava, in Week 6 (2nd of June - 6th of June) we are proud to be celebrating Samoan Language Week | Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa where we will be honouring the rich culture, traditions, and creative spirit of Samoa!

Throughout the week, our tamariki will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of exciting events, including:

✨ A traditional ‘Ava ceremony, led by our Samoan aiga (families). This traditional cultural practice will open our week and is a special opportunity for our whole school to experience.
🎶 A performance by a Polyfest group, showcasing incredible student talent and the vibrant energy of Pasifika performance.
🎨 Art workshops with renowned Samoan artist Ana Teofilo – students will explore both traditional and contemporary Samoan art through a hands-on creative session.

To help cover the cost of materials, we are kindly asking for a small contribution of $2.50 per child. Payment details will be avaliable on Hero after the event.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our children to engage with the beauty of Samoan culture. A huge fa’afetai tele lava to our Samoan aiga (families) and wider community for all your support.
