Introducing 2020 Staff...

Julie Greenwood —

Kia ora, I’m Erin Gribble. I’ve recently moved to Christchurch from Taupō, where I taught for 5 years.

I’m passionate about learning through play and I really enjoy building on children’s interests and strengths to engage them in learning. I have experience in collaborative learning environments and have taught all year levels from 0-6. I also enjoy the arts, particularly music.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy baking, mountain biking and playing the flute.

I look forward to meeting you all soon!

Andrea Smith writes… I'm really excited about returning to Harewood full time in 2020. I've been really lucky to be able to job share for the last few years with Janine Kroening while my children were little. My son Riley is 6 and attends Harewood and my daughter Elise will start in term 1 next year. I grew up on a small farm in Sefton and I now live in Mairehau. My teaching strengths are mathematics, literacy, music and environmental education.

From Janine... My name is Janine Kroening  and I live in Rolleston with my husband Nathan and our two children, aged 11 and 9 years old. I have worked at Harewood School for the past 8 years in various part time roles, recently working 3 days a week in Room 6. I am really looking forward to beginning my full time position next year.

Kia ora, my name is Jess McColl and it has been an absolute pleasure teaching at Harewood School this year. I have enjoyed getting to know many of you and forming relationships with the tamariki. It has been amazing to see the progressions that they have made. In my spare time I like to go for coffee with friends or go to the Christchurch Adventure Park for a bike ride. I am so pleased to be teaching here for another year and I look forward to what 2020 brings!
