Matai Team visit Christchurch School of Gymnastics

On the 22nd of August, Rooms 5, 6 and 7 visited the Christchurch School of Gymnastics. After a fun, energetic warm-up, the children were organised into groups to experience all of the gymnastics stations. 

 Highlights for the children included using ‘real equipment’, swinging on the parallel bars, climbing the rope to the ceiling, the sponge pit and the mini tramps. It was a very busy session and challenged our children physically and mentally. It was so rewarding to see them succeed, grow in confidence and just have a go. A big thank you also to our parent helpers.
