Full Bellies is a Christchurch-based charity helping families in need by providing children with nutritional food delivered into schools.

They provide nourishing food bags to children in need who attend primary schools like ours, that do not meet the criteria to receive Government funding.​

Lunch bags are delivered to school twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. Tamariki can pickup their food before school with no fear of stigmatisation.​ The first lunch delivery for 2025 will be Monday 10 February.

A key obstacle for many children in their learning journey is an absence or lack of food during their school day.​ Full Bellies hope is to remove this barrier to enable tamariki to attend, participate and fully engage in their learning experience at school.
