What a great experience the Kahikatea team had at Ferrymead recently.

Transport through the years was the topic studied at Ferrymead for the tamariki from Rooms 8 and 9.

They spent time in the transport museum looking at and learning about old cars, buses, ambulances and fire engines and the changes over the years.

A tram ride took them to the Tram Restoration Shed for a look around at how much work is needed to get a tram back on the tracks.

They also visited the old movie theatre.
