Even though it was a cold and gloomy day last Monday, Harewood School was a sea of bright and colourful students.

Dressed up in their colourful outfits, all tamariki raced around the course, going through obstacles and dodging bubbles along the way.  We proved that running is a lot of fun.  Here's what our tamariki had to say about the day.

"Everyone looked really cool in their costumes, everyone had fun" Yllaixia and Abi

"I liked the tunnels and going under the tables." Indie and Xander" 

"I enjoyed everyone running together.  It was fun running with my friends.  I also liked the obstacles that were set up." Juliet

"It was fun when we were running and there were bubbles.  We liked it that we got to dress up and we got to run for fun.  It was fun that the parents got to dress up and run with us." Briana, Ivy, Renata and Sierra

"I liked that everyone had colourful clothes on." Cooper

"I liked it that after we ran our race, we got to go and cheer on all the other kids and the parents that were running." Tyler
