A group of year 5 and 6 students spent a great day at the 2017 National Young Leaders Day.

Young Leaders Day is an annual leadership event held in major cities around New Zealand. The day aims to develop student leadership and be both inspirational and practical.

This year Jesse, Liam, Emma, Megan, Archie, Campbell, Maddy, Jessica, Holly H and Myken attended and had a great day.

Speakers at the Christchurch event included Aaron Jackson(actor), Adam Gard'ner and Duane Major (Give a little campaign to buy beach in Abel Tasman), Daniel Flynn (Managing Director of Thank You), Matt Brown (hair artist and educator for violence-free communities), Anna Galvan (Former Silver Fern), Zane Scarborough (Poet and Programme Director at The Parenting Place) with hosts Liz Harrex and Christian Gallen who are both Attitude presenters.
