A wonderful opportunity for Year 3 up girls...

We are fortunate to have Faith, a Samoan dance tutor with Tama Mai Saute Dance
Academy, joining us to offer girls from year 3 upwards at Harewood School the chance to learn traditional Samoan Siva (dance).

This will be a short six-week course running on Wednesdays from 4 – 5pm in Taumatanui at Harewood School. At the completion of the course, students will understand basic Samoan dance concepts and will perform at the school runanga during Samoan Language Week.

When: 4-5pm Wednesday 26 April 2023 – Wednesday 31 May 2023

Where: Harewood School, Taumatanui

What to bring: an ie’ lava lava or sarong if you have one (otherwise one will be provided), a t-shirt and a water bottle

Cost: $5 per class
