The Kahikatea Team are holding their annual Rug Sale on Wednesday 19th July.
The Year 5 & 6 Rug Sale is taking place on the first week of Term 3. Each class has an opportunity to buy pre-loved items from our Year 5 & 6 students who will be displaying their products on rugs in Taumatanui. This is an annual event that the children love participating in.
Each child will need to bring some money, preferably coins, in a small bag or container and a plastic bag or ecofriendly equivalent to keep their precious purchases safe. Prices start from 20 cents up to $2 depending on the item).
The Year 5/6's are fundraising for their Term 4 outdoor education programme.
Items for sale will include 2nd hand toys, books, crafts, jewellery, baking- small items eg muffins, cup cakes, fudge. There will also be raffles, challenges like Spin the wheel, Ping-pong ball in a cup, Guess how many M&Ms in the jar etc.
The Year 5 & 6 students will support the younger students with their buying.
