Kapa Haka Performance

Joanna WoodsOctober 16, 2022

Last term our Kapa haka performed for the first time in 2 years in our Kāhui Ako Cultural Concert.

The Kapa Haka rōpū have been working very hard this year practising for their first performance in a long time. We were very proud to see them in action on the stage at the McFadden Centre. This concert also marked our first public performance of our new school waiata which was created by our whānau hui students last year,  in conjunction with our tutors, Whaea Bonnie, Matua Norm and Matua Maaka.

We will have another chance to see our Kapa Haka in action at the Celebrate Bishopdale festival on Saturday 19 November.
