School Lunches

Harewood SchoolMarch 13, 2025

We encourage all families to provide healthy lunches for their children.

Students need to take home all their rubbish and any food they do not eat.

It's best not to overload your child's lunchbox with food when they are young as they get overwhelmed and don't know what to choose.

Children are not allowed to bring sweets or chocolate to school as we encourage healthy eating and the only drink is water. Water bottles need to be brought to school each day.

Pie Trolley: Children are able to bring food wrapped in tinfoil to be heated in the pie warmer. Only food wrapped in tinfoil will be heated. No noodle containers that need hot water added are to be brought along. Children place their named tinfoil wrapped items on the trolley by the back door of the office block before school and then collect them again from there at 12:30pm.

PTA Lunches: A couple of times a term the PTA run either a sausage sizzle or something similar usually on a Friday. Look out for the information in the fortnightly newsletter for dates.
