Everyone learnt to centre, open up, shape clay on the wheel and glaze.

In extension art we made a bowl using the pottery wheel! It was my first time using the pottery wheel and it was really fun experiencing using the pottery wheel. After we made our bowl using the pottery wheel we left it to dry. Next we used different carving tools to carve designs in the bowl. Carving was my favourite part because it was incredibly satisfying watching the clay come out in strips. Overall, making the bowl was really fun! -Ivy
