Sarah Cumming — May 15, 2018

On Tuesday 19 June, we are fortunate to have Poetry in Action, a theatre company from Australia visiting our school. This group is dedicated to bringing poetry to life through performance!

The Poet’s Quest directed by Darren Gilshenan follows the bumbling hero Blake Williams as he embarks upon a time-travelling adventure, bringing the joy and frivolity of language to life. We will witness Blake’s transformation from being unable to express himself to learning how poetry can help him win back his muse and save the world as we know it!

Students will have the opportunity to laugh and learn with Blake, as he masters the techniques of poetry from some of the greatest poets in history. This exciting, interactive show has been seen and loved by thousands of students worldwide.

Two 45-minute performances will be delivered in the PAC followed by a question and answer session.

Year 7: 9:00 - 10:00 am

Year 8: 10:40 - 11:40 am
