Amazing news for Heaton Rhythmic gymnasts from NZ National Championships 2018 in Tauranga!

Elle-Roze, Room 18 scored bronze in rope for Canterbury, achieving her personal best in rope this season of 8.3, and did two beautiful other routines in ball and clubs despite still recovering from her toe fracture. She also earned proficiency coming 7th overall out of 20 qualified gymnasts with an overall score above 23.

Natasha, Room 21 also achieved proficiency with her beautiful routines and came 8th overall. She scored silver in Rhythmic grade 4 group and bronze at Rhythmic grade 6 group.

Amazing performances. Go Canterbury!

Congratulations to Matt - Room 5 and Sam - Room 7 from the winning Canterbury Metro under 65kg rugby team - they beat Otago in the final to win the South Island Primary schools tournament!
