Five Heaton Rock Bands Performed Excellently at a Recent Competition

On the 21st of August our five Heaton rock bands got a chance to perform in front of a live audience and a panel of judges at this year's BandQuest. In total there were 16 bands playing from across the region and the standard was very high.

Our bands played some fantastic renditions of popular rock songs including Bohemian Rhapsody, Knights of Cydonia, and Zombie. The judges were impressed by their attitude and their commitment to their performances.

Three of our musicians walked away with individual prizes, and one of our bands, Static, won the Rockstar Styles award for their rockin' stage presence. All five of our bands can be exceptionally proud of their performances on the night. Well Done!
