Our Heaton Girls' Cricket Team reaches another National Tournament
The top four Primary/Intermediate Girls' Cricket teams in the Canterbury / Marlborough region, recently played off for the right to compete in this years National Tournament.
The Heaton Girls are the reigning national champions, and have worked extremely hard to prepare themselves for this special event.
We are delighted to announce that with three victories from three matches, our girls will represent our school and region in this months final tournament.
- Game 1: Heaton v. Tai Tapu (Heaton by 119 run)
- Game 2: Heaton v. Waimea (Heaton by 116 runs)
- Game 3: Heaton v. Cobham (Heaton by 27 runs)
A huge congratulations to the whole team for their superb efforts, and to coach Barry for his continued dedication and hard work.
