St. Albans Tennis Club.  Mike Nicol (coach) is retiring after 17 years of coaching 100s of budding St. Albans tennis champions.  Mike’s very last coaching session is 14th April 2018.

If you or your family had any coaching from Mike or you are a previous member of St. Albans Tennis Club - we warmly invite you to come to the club on Dover street at 12pm on April 14th to help the club celebrate Mike’s contribution to St. Albans tennis.

He Toko He Tūāhu is for Ngāi Tūāhuriri rangatahi aged between 8-15 years old who are keen to connect with their hapū. We will be learning about the history and interconnected relationship with Koukourārata marae and the hapū of Ngāti Irakehu and Ngāti Huikai. We will explore the Banks Peninsula environment, learning about whakapapa and the traditions and stories that connect us together. With all of the knowledge we have gathered, we will be creating projects that encourage and strengthen our relationship with Ngāi Tūāhuriri. Rangatahi who whakapapa to Ngāi Tūāhuriri and/or Koukourārata will be prioritised, although we encourage all interested Ngāi Tahu youth to register.

SURFKIDS Childrens Surfing April Holiday Programme.  Learn the skills of Surfing in a fun, safe environment. Girl Guiding New Zealand, Take a Hike!  Free event.  Join us for a walk around Halswell Quarry and a picnic, Sunday 22 April, 10.00 a.m. - 1.00 p.m.  Head to Halswell Quarry with your friends, family or dog for a walk around the outer rim.  There's heaps of activities for all ages to do along the way.  Bring a picnic and join us for food and games after the walk!  You don't have to be a Guiding member to take part, this is a social event and a chance for us all to get together and have fun.
