Heaton Squash and Hawks Basketball Teams Claim Victory in CAIMS Indoor Tournament

We are extremely proud of all 50 Heaton students, who took part in this years  South Island Intermediate and Middle Schools Indoor Tournament, held on Tuesday 23 & Wednesday 24 October. With one table tennis team, and two volleyball, basketball and squash teams, our school had excellent representation at this years tournament. All students were great representatives of our school, and should be extremely proud of their efforts and achievements.

With 11 Canterbury schools taking part across five sporting codes, the competition was fierce, and there were some thoroughly enjoyable matches throughout.

We would also like to acknowledge and congratulate our two Heaton teams, who were crowned A-Grade Champions:

* Heaton Mixed Squash (Petra CM, Caitlin M, George S)

* Heaton Hawks Boys Basketball (Jordan B, George H, Max A, Cooper H, Jasper FL, Max F, Jervy L, Sam M, Ryan K,  Koby A)
