Heaton teams shine during two day Christchurch Tournament

We were treated to some fantastic cricket over the past two weeks at the annual NZC Christchurch 20/20 Tournament, the first step in qualification for the 2018 nationals.

Our girls went a perfect 4 wins from 4 matches to progress to the Christchurch final, which will be scheduled in the coming weeks against Cristchchurch South Intermediate. Our boys topped their group with 3 wins from 3 matches, however could not overcome a strong St Andrew's side in the semi finals.

We are extremely proud of both teams for their brilliant play, and the positive way in which they represented our school. A huge thank you to all of our parent/caregiver helpers, coach Barry V.B and Miss Knipshild for all of their efforts and support this term.
