Queenstown Rugby Tournament Reflection by Finn, Room 4

Our team went to Queenstown on the last day of Term 3.  We arrived for the weigh in at 4:00p.  The next day the tournament started.

Our first game was against Pakuranga from Auckland.  We scored first and the score was 5-0.  We were winning the whole game until they scored in the last second to win 7-5.  Our second game was against Wakatipu.  We had to win this game to make it to the semi finals.  They scored first and converted but then in the second half one of our players scored a hat trick.  The end score was 21-7.  Our semi final was against our nemesis team who we had beaten in the Canterbury final by 2 points, the Burnside Battlers.  We beat them 17-10.  Our final was against Pakuranga.  They scored two intercept tries and then scored another one.  So we went into the second half losing 21-0.  We then scored two tries to make it 21-14 but we ran out of time.

The other people from Heaton in my team were Tom, Room 9, Archie, Room 9, George, Room 11, Jake, Room 15, George, Room 9 and Asher, Room 4
